The heart of the message of our faith is to share, to witness and to educate the Good News of Jesus Christ. What is the Good News? We have a God who knows us and loves us. Despite the human tendency to turn away from God, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, became one of us to rescue us from sin and eternal death. Through his ultimate sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection, he makes it possible for us to be healed, reconciled and transformed. The Church is the visible extension of Jesus’ mission in time and space. Through the Church’s teaching and celebration of the Sacraments, the Holy Spirit continues to guide and transform the People of God to build a “civilization of love.” How do we share this good news?
